“I’m with you, Em. Don’t doubt that, okay? No matter what happens or what you hear…Promise?”

Dayum...this series is so good. I didn't know what to expect because the characters were a bit younger, but, I loved it!!

This book is about the Reaper's MC princess, Em. She was practically raised with the club, so she knows all the ins and outs of being an MC biker. I loved the fact that we get a bit of Em's background and how her life was like when her mother was still alive. Poor girl, is all I'm going to say, I would have died of embarrassment if my dad ever did something like that. Then we also get Liam's, a.k.a. "Hunter", background. The conditions in his foster home were terrible. I seriously felt for him.

“How’s that, baby? Feel good being turned on by a Devil’s Jack?”

If you already read the last books, then you know that Em is still a virgin and ready to give her v-card to her big crush Painter. Painter, who belongs to the Reaper's MC, keeps turning her down, no matter how many times she offers to sleep with him. Fed up, she decides to forget about Painter. This is when Liam decides to make his move. And Em finds it hard to resist him. I have to say that out of all the females of this series, Em is probably my favourite. Why? Well because she can kick ass just as good as the men. I loved that she didn't take any crap from anyone, even Liam himself.

“Fuckin’ love my name comin’ out of your mouth.”

Liam has pretty much been attracted to Em since the first moment he saw her. The thing is, he is part of the Devil's Jacks MC which are enemies with the Reapers. It started off as a club assignment, keep an eye on Em and seduce her. But somewhere along the way he actually fell for her. I really loved Liam. He was such a jerk and had such a dirty mouth, which wasn't a bad thing, but I somehow still liked him. He was possessive and alpha, but not in such a crazy way like Horse and Ruger were. Liam could also be very sweet in an unconventional way. He made my heart melt many times.

“Because she deserves a man with a future. I want to that man to be me. I love her and I'll do anything I can to keep her safe and happy.”

When things get real in book two, Em finds out who Liam really is. Unfortunately, no matter how hard she tries to forget about Liam, she just can't. The feeling is mutual so they decide to just try things out, despite belonging to clubs that may be on the verge of warring against each other. I loved them together. I loved how they seemed to challenge one another. And the sexual tension between these two was really high. The actual steam in the book was pretty freaking hot, just maybe not as hot and dirty as the first two books, but still, it was very hot.

“Love’ is a word that doesn’t mean a damned thing to me. ‘Em,’ though? That’s a word that means everything. I’d die for you, babe. Kill for you, too. I stood up to my club for you and I don’t regret any of it, not for a minute. So, you wanted to know how I feel? I don’t even have a word for what I feel, sweetheart. I just know it’s really fuckin’ good.”

Their story, is a crazy one, but I loved it nonetheless. I loved seeing Em grow up in this book. In the previous books, she seemed to be controlled by her father Picnic, but in this one, she grows a backbone and stands up for herself. I also really loved seeing the closeness that Em and her father shared, it was beautiful. They might not always show it or say it, but they really care about each other. The ending was fantastic. I really enjoyed the whole book that I couldn't put it down. I loved that little snippet we get of Picnic's story. I cannot freaking wait for it to come out. I want it now! I'm glad I won't have to wait too long.
