Once again, this one was one of the many books that was buried under my pile of 'to read' books that kept getting pushed to the back. Well, I can't believe I didn't read this sooner because wow...this book was pretty damn good.

As soon as I started the book, I was pretty much hooked. I didn't know how it would all pan out, since I knew Gavin would be in a relationship with Ben at some point. The mystery aspect of it, did have me sickened and intrigued. I had a hard time putting this down, even though 'real life' made me do just that many times while reading this.

"Please what?"

"Please take me. Use me. Make me yours."

I really liked Gavin, pretty much from the start. It was pretty rough reading about his relationship with his wife Victoria. I did not like her, at all. I didn't like how she wanted to boss him around and not try to compromise in some way. Then again, he didn't either, but he did try at one point. What I did love, was when he met Ben. And don't worry because Gavin does not cheat. Anyway, I loved seeing him become comfortable in his skin, and how Ben made him feel. After Gavin was in the closet for so long, it was wonderful to read about him finally accepting his gay self.

"It's you Ben. Your calm, your command of my body, of me...it feels right. You'll take care of me, and I'll take care of you. When I'm with you, I can do anything. I like who I am with you."

Ben...I LOVED!! I don't know what is was about this psychologist-Dom, but I really did love him. I love how patient he was and how he cared for Gavin. Just loved him! I also really appreciated that I was able to learn a bit more about the BDSM world through Ben. It was quite scary but quite interesting as well. I loved seeing Ben and Gavin's relationship grow. Yes it was pretty fast, but that was because of the nature of their relationship that required so much trust.

The writing was really good, I thought. Although I will say, I kind of figured out who the killer was pretty early on. Still, that didn't ruin my enjoyment of it. I loved some of the secondary characters, mainly Cole and Myah, they were awesome. I loved the romance in this book which had me melting and swooning. Then there was the steam, which had me melting and swooning over the hotness of it. Seriously, it was scorching. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to dive into the next.
